We rank every application by financial need — lowest household income first. The families who could least afford private school without us move to the front of the line. We do not review applications in the order they arrive. We do not prioritize based on school affiliation or any other factor.

Arizona law allows donors to recommend a student or school. We honor recommendations to the extent the law allows — but a recommendation never overrides the income ranking. Financial need determines who is awarded a scholarship.

Applying is free and takes just a few minutes. After you apply:

1. We review the household information you provide to determine your ranking on our waiting list. You won’t need tax returns, pay stubs, or other income documents to apply — we will request that verification later.
2. As donations come in, scholarships are awarded to the families with the greatest financial need first.
3. We pay the school directly on your behalf — your family never handles the funds.
4. We will keep you updated on your application status.
