For Schools
Partner With Us to Make Tuition Possible for the Families Who Need It Most.
Scholarkids partners with qualifying private schools across Arizona to connect families with fulltuition scholarships. If your school serves families for whom tuition is a genuine financial barrier, we want to work with you.
What Makes Scholarkids Different
Most scholarship organizations spread donations across as many recipients as possible. A $500 award toward $8,000 in tuition looks generous on paper, but it leaves the family exactly where they started — unable to afford the school. We do the opposite.
We rank applicants by financial need — lowest household income first. The families at your school who could least afford tuition without help move to the front of our list. We do not rank by who applied first, by school affiliation, or by any other factor. Financial need is the only criterion.
Our goal is 100 percent of tuition — a full school year, fully funded. We do not believe a partial scholarship that leaves an unaffordable gap is a real solution. We are honest that we are still building the donor base to make full-tuition awards possible for every family on our waiting list. Until then, we award the maximum our current donations allow to the families with the greatest need.
We pay your school directly. Every scholarship Scholarkids awards is paid directly to the school — never to the family. Neither Arizona nor federal law requires this. We chose it as our operating standard because we believe it represents the highest level of integrity. Your school receives payment, the family never handles funds, and the process stays clean and accountable for everyone involved.
90 percent of every donated dollar reaches scholarships — by law. Both federal and Arizona law require a minimum of 90 percent of every dollar donated to an SGO/STO be awarded as scholarships, not administration or overhead. Your families know their donor’s
contribution is going where it is supposed to go.
We are correcting a real gap in the system. According to the Arizona Department of Revenue’s own annual report, the majority of Arizona STO scholarship dollars flow to families earning above 342 percent of the federal poverty level — above $106,000 a year for a family of four. The lowest-income families at schools like yours are too often last in line. Scholarkids exists specifically to reach the families other STOs are missing.
We think in years, not transactions. A scholarship for one year changes a child’s life — but uncertainty about the next year takes some of that back. Our long-term goal is multi-year scholarship commitments, funded by donors who give monthly and annually, so families at your school can plan beyond a single semester.
What This Means for Your School
A partnership with Scholarkids costs your school nothing. There is no fee, no exclusivity requirement, and no administrative burden. We simply ask that you help us reach the families at your school who need this most.
Help Us Reach Your Families
The families who benefit most from a Scholarkids scholarship are often the ones least likely to have heard of us. We rely on schools like yours to help close that gap.
If your school has families who are struggling to afford tuition, or families who have inquired about financial assistance, please encourage them to apply. Applying is completely free and takes only a few minutes. We rank every application by financial need, so the families who need it most move to the front of the line — regardless of when they apply.
You can share our application link directly with families, include it in enrollment materials, or simply let your admissions and financial aid staff know that Scholarkids is an active option for income-qualifying families.
